W+K 12 is a big, weird, ridiculous family and for our art show, titled Fail Gloriously, we invited everyone who ever participated in W+K 12 to take part. A couple of summers working construction landed me the gig building the wooden letters and an interest in arson for beginners put a flaming torch in my hand. I think it takes guts to fail, so for my piece I daisy chained strip lights together and fortunately, with no prior knowledge of electrics, only came close to electrocuting myself.
